Well, seeing as Sooz is of gallavanting around the world, I suppose I'd better update this for the listening pleasure of all our non-existant readers. Really, I think she's demonstrating a disturbing lack of commitment to the blog at the moment. It might be time to think about replacing her on the staff.

After last week's adventures in disgustingly bubbly pop music, I thought I'd try and salvage a little credibility by posting some indie songs. To ease you in gently, let's kick-off with the fantastically monikered 'Suburban Kids With Biblical Names' and their very happy Rent-A-Wreck. They're another Swedish band. The Swedish seem to produce very happy music for a place that's dark all the time.

Sticking with the Scandinavian theme, the next song I present for your listening pleasure is the splendidly indie Burma by the Norwegian band New Violators. I suspect, and I don't know what gives me this impression, that they may be fans of The Smiths.
